This new pattern from Barbara Brandeburg is a double value. Make up this charming kitty either in the 14"model using felted wool from an old sweater (or in new wool from us), or in the 21" model using 5" fabric charms.

Button Crazy Pincushion
One perfect summer morning the sweetest woman came into our shop bearing a box full on her handcrafted polymer buttons and a sample of the coolest pincushion. "Would we be interested", she wondered, "in buying some of her buttons and perhaps her pincushion pattern?" Now normally we don't take cold call sales, but it was a perfect morning, and we were beguiled by the colors spinning around in those buttons! So here it is - as a pattern which includes two unique polymer buttons or as a kit which we're told will make up two of the pincushions which measure 4 ½" x 4 ½" x 2". Sorry no choice of buttons - let us select for you!

Dragon fly
A delightful and easy 16" x 16" wall hanging quilt from Colorful Stitches, this quilt features 3D metallic dragon fly wings. Our kit for this pattern supplies all the batik fabrics for the top, backing, binding, beads, and metallic fabrics for the wings.

Going in Circles
Another Colourful Stitches pattern, this completed quilt measures 27" x 27". If you've been hesitant to make quilts featuring curves, don't be! The pattern includes very simple, easy to follow directions for making up raw edged arc shapes. There are five other suggested layouts included in the pattern, and we have had customers make up 4 of these smaller quilts and sew them all together to make a stunning 54" square quilt. The fabrics in our kit are batiks and Orientals in similar colors.

Think Pink
This contemporary wall hanging is constructed of twenty original design 8"blocks. Our sample maker had so much fun sewing this pattern using scraps, after she completed the first quilt she quickly made up another sample using similar batiks as the pattern. The finished quilt measures 32" x 40", but again you can easily make the quilt larger for a bed sized quilt, or smaller for a pillow.

Drama Queen
What a terrific little quilt! This finished quilt measures 60" x 72", and makes up lickety split quick! It lives up to it's name of Drama Queen by using some scrappy blocks, some blocks featuring fused circles and some plain blocks, all using contemporary print fabrics. Don't be intimidated by the circles on the border - they're fused and machine stitched!

Cioppino
Easy cutting + easy piecing + beautiful fabrics + stunning border = one stunningly eclectic quilt. This new pattern from Quilt Soup is a delight to sew up and has clear directions for the curved quilt edges. You could skip the curved edges, but it is part of what makes this quilt so interesting - so go for it! The finished size is
50 ¾" x 68". Oh, the pattern includes a recipe for Cioppino - fish stew - which sounds delicious!

Windows
Aardvark Quilts is one of our favorite quilt pattern companies. Their designs are interesting visually, the directions very clear and well written, and they are easy to make. This pattern features a stunning Alexander Henry print of Geisha that we have and are willing to share in our kits. We love this particular fabric so much that it was tempting to immediately seize it for our private fabric stashes! The geisha fabric will be just as you see in the photo, and the remaining oriental fabrics will be very similar. You're going to love this pattern!

Plaza
Sew Be It is another pattern company we like for designs that are bold, quick and which work so well with the new larger contemporary fabric prints. The finished size of Plaza is 63" x 81", but again it is easy enough to add on another set of blocks to enlarge the quilt to whatever size you desire. The kit is available in either the yellow green color way or the red, cream and black oriental fabric collection.

The Main Feature
This is another Sew Be It pattern that has been a consistently customer favorite. It is perfect for showcasing a large print fabric. We have kitted this pattern using large batik panels, Kona Bay geisha or kimono panels (Click Here!) and some of the large new Amy Butler and Kaffe Fassett prints.
