What
types of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard,
Discover, American Express, personal checks (drawn on U.S. bank accounts
only), and U.S. Postal money orders. When paying by personal check or money
order, please allow sufficient extra time for your payment to clear. All
payments must be made in U.S. dollars.
Will I
be charged sales tax on my order?
Orders placed from within
the state of Iowa will have 7% sales tax added. International orders
(outside the US) may be subject to customs duties and taxes and are the
responsibility of the purchaser.
Will I
receive stamps on my Quilting Club card for my on-line or mail order
purchase?
Yes, if you request us to
do so in the comments section of your order. The Yellow Bird Art Quilting
Club card is a customer appreciation card for purchases of quilting
materials and supplies. You’ll receive a stamp for every $5 spent. When
you’ve spent $250 in quilting materials and supplies, you’ll receive $20 off
your next order of $20 or more. Customer is responsible for requesting
Quilting Club card stamps. Regularly priced items only. Sewing machines
and Baby Lock software excluded.
What
are your shipping charges?
We ship
via USPS Priority Mail to all 50 states, unless another method is requested. We
will usually ship your order within one business day from the time we receive
it.
Shipping Charges within
the United States
Up to $40.00 order: $4.95
$40.01 - $100.00: $9.95
$100.01 - $200.00: $12.95
$200.01 and up: $16.95
International Shipping
Charges
We ship international packages via Global Priority Mail to all countries
that accept Global Priority Mail packages. Shipping costs are: $0- 40.00:
$12.00; $40.01-100.00: $24.00 and Over $100.00: $40.00. If there are any
additional charges we will contact you. If your country does not accept
Global Priority Mail the shipping prices will vary based on Airmail rates.
If your order is over $200 we may mail your package via UPS Express.
A note
about color…
We try to make sure our
fabric scans and photos are as color-correct as possible, however, computer
monitors vary so there may be slight variations from computer to computer.
If your current project requires an exact color match, we're happy to mail
you up to five swatches free of charge so you can see them for yourself.
Simply send us a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your requests
included and we'll send them right out. Due to the labor and expense
involved in cutting and mailing swatches, additional swatches are $1.00 for
two. Please include a check or money order with your request if you require
additional swatches.
What is
your return policy?
If for any reason you are
not completely satisfied with the quality of products we offer, or if there
is anything missing or damaged in your order, please contact us within 7
days of purchase us so we can discuss your individual situation- you can
call us at 563-538-4350 or email us at
info@YellowBirdArt.com. Once fabric
has been cut from the bolt, it is not returnable unless the mistake was
ours, so PLEASE--if color is critical, write to request a free swatch before
you place your order. Also, please be aware that due to copyright laws,
patterns and books may not be returned. If you have any questions or
concerns about our policies, please don't hesitate to call us at

Is my
information safe with you?
Please be assured we're
serious about protecting your privacy. We store a minimum amount of
information about our customers --usually your name and email address, plus
your mailing address and telephone number if you've provided them. We never
keep credit card numbers on file unless a customer specifically requests
it. We will never sell or rent customer information to anyone.
