The Happy Scrappers
Meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of
each month, 10am – 2pm

Come join us in
making scrappy lap quilts to be distributed to residents of our local
nursing homes, or for another worthy cause. Yellow Bird is contributing our
cutting scraps and the classroom space. You supply a joyful heart, your
sewing machine, and what ever scraps you want to contribute to make gifts of
love. Let's continue to brighten the lives of those around us!
Block of the Month Club
Meetings are the
2nd Wednesday of each month, 10am-12pm
June 11, July 9, August 13, September 10
We’re using a gorgeous pattern called “Sampler Magic” by Lori Smith… You
will learn three new blocks each month and at the end of the year you’ll
have a beautiful 64” x 80” sampler quilt. You will need to purchase the
pattern which is $14.00 and in stock.
Super Stash Saturday
Meetings are the 4th Saturday of
each month, from 9am-10:30am
May 24, June 24, July 26, August 23, September 27
We’ll show you great new patterns to use to reduce your stash of fabrics,
share stash storage tips, have show and tell, and give away a free pattern,
in addition to door prizes. $5.00 per session. Call in advance to register-
space is limited! See you there!
Soup N’ Stitch
Last Friday of each month, from 5pm – 9pm (arrive at your own convenience)
May 30, June 27, July 25, August 29, September 26
The last Friday of
each month is a time to gather with us at Yellow Bird and enjoy a bowl of
homemade soup, the companionship of other quilters, and a time to work on
your own projects! Cost: $5.00. Call and let us know you’re coming so we
