Yellow Bird Art opened in October of 2005 and has been successfully and happily serving quilters and sewing enthusiasts ever since. Our staff of warm and knowledgeable quilters are here for you!

We carry 2,500 bolts of high quality 100% cotton fabric. We specialize in orientals, batiks, black & whites, civil war reproductions, Kaffe Fassett and Amy butler fabrics. We offer a wonderful selection of basics, as well as many other designs by companies such as Kona Bay, Hoffman, Free Spirit, Westminster, Marcus Brothers, Kaufmann, Red Rooster, Lakehouse Fabrics, and Alexander Henry, among others.

We carry a gorgeous selection of vintage kimono silks and hand dyed wools.

Yellow Bird Art has a wonderfully stocked Embellishment Center. We carry fabric paints, rubber stamps suitable for stamping on fabric, silk fabric dye, Shiva paint sticks, Angelina fibers, Hot Fix Crystals, Bejeweler Stone Styler, Art Glitter kits, Artgirlz Creativity Journal Kits & Artgirls pewter charms, Shisha glass, Bella Nonna Petals, Tatool tassel maker, Spinster cord maker, Hand Dyed Hobbies luscious collections of color coordinated threads and yarns, and a wide selection of beads and the tools required for making jewelry or embellishing fabrics. We take pride in carrying the latest inspirational books in print about the fiber arts to support our selection of embellishments. As always, we carry PFD (prepared for dye) fabric in cotton and rayon, and will ship to you.

We offer a wonderful collection of ribbons, many of which are imported from France. We’re delighted to carry a selection of Mokuba ribbons, hand dyed silk ribbons from Hannah silk, and a variety of new and vintage ribbons.

We carry a full range of patterns for quilting, clothing, hand bags and crafting. We take pride in our wide variety of carefully selected book titles.

And, we've got a full line of quilting and sewing notions, as well as tool and books for doll makers.
